I work in the field of non-contentious construction law.

In other words, I draft, review, negotiate and advise on agreements for carrying out works, such as building contracts and consultants' appointments, and related agreements such as performance bonds and collateral warranties.  I do this work, through my law firm clients, for developers, construction companies, specialist contractors (subcontractors), construction professionals, and other businesses and individuals commissioning or carrying out construction work.

I also review and negotiate the construction-related parts of property agreements such as agreements for sale and purchase, agreements for lease, funding agreements and development agreements.  I do this work for my law firm clients and their clients who are developers, lenders, buyers or tenants of property.

When I get enquiries about contentious construction law - which involves litigation, arbitration, adjudication, mediation, and other forms of dispute resolution - I can confidently refer them to one of my law firm clients which has considerable skill and experience in this field.
