Lawbuild

I'm David Lewis, a solicitor practising as a self-employed consultant in the field of non-contentious construction law.  Lawbuild is my trading name.

I'm regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) as a solicitor, but not as a law firm.  This means I can be engaged only by SRA-regulated law firms and not directly by members of the public.  If a member of the public wants my services, I can provide a quote through one of the law firms I work for.

Those law firms carry their own professional indemnity insurance, which covers me as their consultant as well as the law firm and its clients.  (Not being myself an SRA-regulated law firm, I do not carry my own insurance.)
